So this is the best and closest campground to Swallow Cliffs. It is right along the Little Truckee River and about 5 miles from the mystery spot. The Forest Service told me that we can camp there the week before but the reservations open on that Friday (16th) for the season. So, I will reserve several spots but the more spots we reserve the better for that weekend, it is a small campground.
